Important Announcement - Foresight
Now
Free
For All To Use.
November, 2009
After a good run, I have come to the hard
decision of shutting down Foresight. I want to thank all
the early adopters who subscribed to and use the product.
In addition, I want to fulfill my commitment to our current
subscribers, inform others about how they can use Foresight and if you decide
it really does help you get the right things done, ask for your
contribution.
First, as I have said for a long time, if I
ever decided to close things down, I would release an
"un-locked" version of the product. That unlocked product
is now * the * download for Foresight. Simply download and
install (especially if you are getting an error message about
your subscription*). This version will allow full use forever,
allowing current customers and future to experience truly
effective personal productivity.
If you are new to Foresight, I hope you
find it as useful as I do. Myself and many other users still use it and live
in it daily. It truly allows
us to get the right things done and be very effective in our
personal and work lives. With this in mind, I could not stand
the idea of just shelving
Foresight. So, I have decided to open it up and let
everyone
benefit from it. I am, however, still saddled with
the debt of developing Foresight. Therefore, if you find
Foresight as valuable to you as I do, please consider making a
contribution by
clicking here.
With Many Thanks,
-- Jeffrey W. Cox
PS: "Business" always seems to have
"fine print," so here's mine:
- The software is AS IS with no guarantees and no
guaranteed support available.
- At my sole discretion, I will continue to
respond to support requests via our website as I can or
choose to.
- Contributions don't hurt (wink wink /
nod nod). However, please note that, as mentioned
above and below, no more development / code changes can
or will be made. So, if it is a bug, you are stuck
with it.
- Currently, there are no plans for future
development (i.e., bug fixes or enhancements).
- We reserve all rights to the software,
collateral, and methodology, including the right to resume
charging for future versions of the software.
- No other entity may offer the software
for download or sale without the expressed written consent
of Red Monkey Corporation.
* Speaking of subscriptions, all
subscriptions have been cancelled and you will no longer be
billed.

About Foresight
Foresight is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook that
enhances Outlook and helps people succeed with
their To Do lists, projects and goals.
In the Information Age of today, more and more
information is hitting our plates everyday. Along with this, and
usually without our say-so, more and more work is also being put
on our plates - without more resources or tools to help.
Foresight is the resource and tool to help - a new resource for
a new age.
Foresight is more than a new To Do list; it is
a system and software that will help you keep on top of it all,
focused on the most important thing, and succeed.
Reducing your stress yet being more productive
in the Information Age is what Foresight is all about.
To learn more, feel free to browse our site
using the buttons at the top of the page. Or, as announced
above, start using the software for free
and start being more productive on your To Do list today!
About Our Subscription Model
Foresight is sold by subscription. This is
similar to other subscriptions you may have, such as Netflix and
Apple's iTunes. In the software world, this is different from
the "buy it once" model and provides a huge advantage to you,
the software user.
Our number one goal here at RMC and Foresight
is responding to customer feedback and needs. To that end, our
founder wanted to make sure that we do not end up like other
software companies - companies that take forever to release
enhancements and new features, or, never do so at all. Software
released by companies such as
Franklin Covey have
annoyed users by having bugs in the software for years, with
no fixes ever forthcoming. Our founder, aggravated by this,
decided to form a company, create a better software solution,
and provide a way to make sure the software grows. Subscriptions
allow for just that.
Software subscriptions are a win / win! It's a
win for you, the user:
- You get software that will make you
productive now - at a low cost (and a cost that is less
than or equal to that of most "buy it once" software when
you compare their annual and upgrade costs).
- You get software that will continue to
grow with features to help continue to make you
productive.
- You get a software company that will be
responsive to any issues that may arise.
It's a win for us as we have the revenue to
deliver all of this to you! We can cover development and support
costs. We can cover the hundreds of dollars of annual expenses
we incur for the tools we use to build Foresight.
This is truly a synergistic and better way
to deliver software - and more importantly to deliver a
useful tool to you, the customer.
About Our Subscription Model
Guarantee
We guarantee that we will release an unlocked
version of Foresight to all registered users should the product
ever be discontinued. This guarantee is written into our
License Agreement and backed by our integrity and longevity.
About RMC
Welcome!
My name is Jeffrey Cox. I'm President and
CEO of Foresight, a division of Red Monkey Corporation (RMC).
RMC is a small private corporation, founded in 1986 and
incorporated in 2002. My young daughters named the company
and that in itself is a long story! RMC started with a small, local retail
focus and has grown today into a company with a global presence and
a large mission - to change the face of Outlook so that it will help people succeed with their To Do lists,
projects and goals.
We are also a company that believes strongly in
our values. Integrity. Honesty. Professionalism.
(Being) Proactive. Responsive. We believe in listening to
the customer and being responsive to them. I personally
got tired of other companies not doing this and quit my job to
form a company that would do (and is doing) it right!
As our company and software
grows and as we get our newsletter out to everyone, we
hope we can help you truly get the right things done and be
successful with your To Do list, Projects and Goals -- it's our
mission and passion.
Please don't hesitate to
contact me if you
have any question or requests.
Best Regards,
Jeffrey Cox PS: For
